why we exist

We are a grassroots network born in Uganda, rooted in local masjids and religious centers, and growing across Africa. Al Jama'ah was built for a simple reason: travel should never mean disconnection. Every day, brothers and sisters leave home for work abroad—and little by little, the bond to their faith, their masjid, and their community fades. Families struggle to raise children with Islamic education. New seekers of Islam find no one to guide them in their own language. We exist to fix that.
